Things I’m Seeing Without You by Peter Bognanni *Review*

I rate this young adult story 2 out of 5 stars.  Thank you so much Penguin Teen for sending this book to me in exchange for an honest review.

I was incredibly excited for this book.  As someone who suffers from severe depression I like to read books that focus on mental illness or have story lines relating to it.  I went into this book expecting something completely different from what it ended up being.  Unfortunately, after some thought, I was mostly just disappointed in a book that had great potential.

JORD Watch Fall Fashion and Giveaway!

I may or may not be a watch hoarder.  And my favorite time to wear watches? Fall of course! Breaking out the sweaters, scarves, and boots with a nice watch to add that extra bit to finish your look.  My newest obsession, natural wood watches from JORD! With tons of styles to choose from and different wood patterns there are so many possible favorites for everyone.  Personally my favorite is my new Dover, a unique self winding watch with a skeleton face.  I adore seeing the inner workings of my watch and I am constantly getting compliments when I am out and about.  The wood of my watch goes well with all my neutral sweaters and it’s comfortable, never pinching my wrist or weighing me down!

Book of Judas by Linda Stasi *review*

Thank you so much Forge Books and Get Red PR for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.  I give this thriller a 3/5 star rating!

A new adventure in Alessandra Russo’s life has her investigating the Gospel of Judas and some of its lost pages that have now come into her possession.  Linda Stasi writes about a well known mystery and brings it to new life in this fictional thriller.  A cross between The DaVinci Code and National Treasure, I was left wanting to know about the real mystery behind the Gospel of Judas.  While the story fell a bit flat for me, I enjoyed reading about such a unique topic and I was definitely intrigued to see what would happen to Alessandra along the way.

Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco *Review*

4.5/5 stars! I LOVED this book so much!  I enjoyed it much more than the first one!  A lot of that probably has to do with the fact that I live for creepy, secret passage way, castle type feels and with Audrey Rose and Thomas tucked away at Bran Castle that is exactly what this story delivered.  I only fell more in love with Audrey Rose and Thomas all while being sufficiently enthralled with their surroundings and the case at hand.  This has become a new favorite!

“Humans were the true monsters and villains.  More real than any novel or fantasy could invent.”

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco *Review*

What do you get when you blend together unsolved historical cases, women fighting societal expectations, and romance?  Answer; an incredibly fun mystery that you won’t want to put down! Stalking Jack the Ripper is fresh and spunky and I enjoyed every second of the adventures with Audrey Rose in the late 1800’s.  While at parts a little slow and maybe a tad predictable I rate this exciting debut novel 3.5 stars!

“What is a man’s soul made of that a woman’s is not?”

All the Dirty Parts by Daniel Handler *Review*

Thank you Bloomsbury Publishing for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

I genuinely am unsure what to rate this book, let alone what to think about this book.  I guess I will say 2 stars.

“There are love stories galore, and we all know them. This isn’t that. The story I’m typing is all the dirty parts.”
