The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson *Review*

This was my last read in October, snuggling in to start it on Halloween, I was hoping for a perfectly spooky ghost story.  Unfortunately, I was a little underwhelmed by the over all story and rated this book 2.5 out of 5 stars!

London Belongs to Me by Jacquelyn Middleton *Review*

Thank you so much Kirkwall Books and Jacquelyn Middleton for sending me your book for review!  I settled into this cozy read right away and fell in love with all the characters within a few chapters.  I lost myself in London with Alex and her friends and did not want to come back!  An endearing story about self discovery against the odds in a new city, many readers will surely fall in love with Alex and the gang.  I rate this contemporary, new adult book 4 out of 5 stars!

The Cellar by Natasha Preston *review*

I have been on a spooky/creepy read kick this month and I promptly added The Cellar to the list after hearing some good reviews.  The premise is certainly scary, young girls being kidnapped and kept against their will by a psychopath, and while at times the character development seemed to lack a bit, I did enjoy the overall story.  I rated this one 3.5 out of 5 stars.
